City of Burnaby Bursary Award

Bursary Award

In 2019, the City of Burnaby established a bursary award program to encourage Burnaby grads to pursue post-secondary education and training. Every year, one graduating student from each public secondary school in Burnaby is selected to receive a $1,000 bursary. The bursaries are awarded to students who demonstrate leadership qualities, volunteerism and community involvement. The class of 2020 was the first to receive the City of Burnaby Bursary Award through this program.
