Edmonds Art Programs
Adult Dance Class Postponed or Cancelled
Due to a recently issued Provincial Health Order, adult dance classes are postponed or cancelled in all City of Burnaby recreation facilities until further notice. Children and youth classes will continue as scheduled.
For cancelled programs, refunds or credits will be provided to anyone who has registered in advance.
All other indoor activities in our recreation facilities will continue following the centres’ safety protocols.

Andrea started her career with Parks & Recreation as a camp leader, working during the summers while completing her studies at the University of British Columbia, where she completed a Bachelors of Arts degree. During this time, she also completed piano studies with the Royal Conservatory of Music, finishing with a Grade 10 RCM with proficiency in ARCT level. Andrea started at Edmonds as the Arts Coordinator in 2015, although before that she had been involved in numerous other positions with the City. While her foundation is in music, Andrea is invested in seeing all of the disciplines thrive and grow at Edmonds, and looks forward to continuing to build the fantastic complement of programs at the centre! Leah started with the City of Burnaby as a program leader for children’s arts camps at Shadbolt Centre for the Arts. In 2018, she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies at Simon Fraser University. Leah has always had a passion for art. Growing up, she participated in community theatre programs and has always enjoyed visual arts as a hobby. When travelling abroad, Leah has had the opportunity to spread her love for sharing simple songs and art with children in schools. Leah started at Edmonds in 2019, assisting with arts programs in the facility. Leah loves working with the art instructors and watching the creativity grow in each discipline of programs here at Edmonds. |
