Weights & Cardio Room at Willingdon

Weights & Cardio Room Update

We’ve opened up the weights and cardio room. All equipment will be available during your session. We are gradually increasing capacity in our programs.

Reservations Required

Advanced reservation and payment is required. Burnaby residents have priority registration and can register in advance of non-residents for programs and activities which are in Webreg. Reserve your time and make payment by:

A great place for a workout at your own pace and to fit your schedule. Our facility has a separate cardio room with large windows and plenty of fresh air. Meanwhile, the weight room offers a variety of weightlifting equipment in a quiet and friendly environment.

What you need to know 

  • No drop-ins. Book online or phone 604-297-4526, Monday-Saturday 9am to one hour prior to closing to reserve your spot up to 7 days in advance. Limit of one reservation per day
  • Cubbies and lockers not available. Keep valuables at home
  • Please ensure you wipe down your machine and equipment before and after use to help keep each other safe
  • Please leave promptly after booking to allow for cleaning between each session
  • Personal training or instruction is not permitted in our weight rooms at this time
  • No refunds for reservations once booked
  • Schedules are subject to change
  • Due to the limited number of available recreations sessions and to allow more community members to enjoy our facilities, if you are 10+ minutes late for your booking, your spot may be given away to another participant.


  • Effective July 15 until further notice
  • All equipment will be available during your session


  • 1 hour sessions Monday to Saturday, beginning at 9am daily, 15 minute cleaning between sessions 
  • Start times Monday-Friday: 9am, 10:15am, 11:30am, 12:45pm, 2pm, 3:15pm, 4:30pm, 5:45pm, 7pm
  • Start times Saturday: 9am, 10:15am, 11:30am, 12:45pm, 2pm

Building Access:
Only the West entrance is open. Follow the directional signage from the parking lot to the entrance. 


Parking is available at the front (south side) of the building, with accessible parking stalls.
