Weights & Cardio Room at Willingdon

April 10: Centre Closed

Willingdon will be closed on Saturday April 10 due to a planned power outage. All programs and activities for the day will be cancelled. Thank you for your understanding.

Reservations Required

Advanced reservation and payment is required. Burnaby residents have priority registration and can register in advance of non-residents for programs and activities which are in Webreg. Reserve your time and make payment by:

Safety Update: Masks must be worn at all times including while exercising in the Weights & Cardio Room.

A great place for a sweaty workout at your own pace and to fit your schedule. Our facility has a separate cardio room with large windows and plenty of fresh air. Meanwhile, the weight room offers a a variety of weightlifting equipment in a quiet and friendly environment.

What you need to know 

  • No drop-ins. Book online or phone 604-297-4526, Monday-Saturday 9am to one hour prior to closing to reserve your spot up to 7 days in advance. Limit of one reservation per day
  • Cubbies and lockers not available. Keep valuables at home
  • Bring your own pre-filled water bottle.  Water fountains remain closed.
  • Please ensure you wipe down your machine and equipment before and after use to help keep each other safe
  • Please leave promptly after booking to allow for cleaning between each session
  • Personal training or instruction is not permitted in our weight rooms at this time
  • No refunds for reservations once booked
  • Schedules are subject to change


  • Willingdon weights and cardio room has changed. To maintain physical distancing, it is now set up in multiple zones.
    • When booking please specify which zone you are booking. See Fitness Equipment for details.
    • Maximum 1 person per zone (you will get the whole zone to yourself during your session). 

Zone 1: Upper Body Focus

  • Time slots: 1 hour sessions Monday to Saturday, beginning at 9am daily, 15 minute cleaning between sessions 
  • Start times Monday-Friday: 9am, 10:15am, 11:30am, 12:45pm, 2pm, 3:15pm, 4:30pm, 5:45pm, 7pm
  • Start times Saturday: 9am, 10:15am, 11:30am, 12:45pm, 2pm

Zone 2: Lower Body Focus

  • Time slots: 1 hour sessions Monday to Saturday, beginning at 9:15am daily, with cleaning time between sessions 
  • Start times Monday-Friday: 9:15am, 10:30am, 11:45am, 1pm, 2:15pm, 3:30pm, 4:45pm, 6pm, 7:15pm
  • Start times Saturday: 9:15am, 10:30am, 11:45pm, 1pm, 2:15pm

Zone 3: Cardio Focus

  • Time slots: 1 hour sessions Monday to Saturday, beginning at 9:30am daily, with cleaning time between sessions 
  • Start times Monday-Friday: 9:30am, 10:45am, 12pm, 1:15pm, 2:30pm, 3:45pm, 5pm, 6:15pm, 7:30pm
  • Start times Saturday: 9:30am, 10:45am, 12pm, 1:15pm, 2:30pm

Building Access:
Only the West entrance is open. Follow the directional signage from the parking lot to the entrance. 


Parking is available at the front (south side) of the building, with accessible parking stalls.
