Playground & Spray Pad Area

Splash, play and climb! The newly renovated play area at Confederation Park officially opened in 2014. Surrounded by the rubberized walking track, picnic areas, tennis courts, skate park and grass fields, the playground and spray pad adds another element to this community space for accessible and integrated play.

The 400 square metre water play area was designed plaza-style and encourages manipulation play; children can operate the gates and weirs to change the direction of water! The new 700 square metre rubberized surfaced playground features multi-person see-saw, spinner bowls, child-size picnic tables, swing sets, climbing rock and more! Coming this fall will be the newly relocated basketball court, five two-way benches complete with overhead shade canopy and donation benches available for purchase.

So bring your kids, your picnic blanket and come out and play this summer!

Push-Button Spray Pad

The spray pad at Confederation Park is open from the May long weekend to September, spray pads operate on a push-button system from 9am-9pm. Call 604-570-4000 for updates.
