Officially celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival has released the full details of their highly anticipated 2019 lineup. Now in its second decade, the family-friendly event returns to Deer Lake Park on Saturday, August 10, 2019, and will feature performances by Feist, Lord Huron, Dan Mangan, The War and Treaty, William Prince, and Southern Avenue.

This nine-hour event showcases an eclectic variety of world-class music in the City’s most picturesque venue of Deer Lake Park. We strive to appeal to a wide spectrum of audiences and are committed to enriching the cultural and economic fabric of our region.

Rawk Camp August 6-10

Young people with aspirations to be rock stars will have their chance by taking part in Rawk Camp with Yukon-based rockers Speed Control, culminating with a performance at the 2019 Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival.

The goal of this week-long program is to grab onto the love of music and learn how to have fun performing with other musicians. No experience is required and participants will take part in group lessons on individual instruments including guitars, drums, bass, keyboards and vocals. Following the camp, the new musicians will join Speed Control on stage at the Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival to perform their latest hits!
