There are plenty of ways for youth to get involved! Be sure to mark your calendars for Youth Week, May 1-7, 2020. Join in fun events dedicated to youth held throughout the entire city.

Burnaby Youth Week Citizenship Awards

Thank you for your nominations. Presentation of awards are currently postponed. Nominees will be contacted with additional details.

Youth Week is also a time that the City recognizes the achievements of our youth with the Burnaby Youth Week Citizenship Awards. Teens are recognized in an official ceremony at a City Council Meeting. 

If you know anyone who deserves a Citizenship Nomination, check out the nomination details and requirements. 2020 nominations are due by Friday, March 6, 2020. Top nominees are awarded $100.00.
