Burnaby Youth Week

This year, we’re celebrating Youth Week online. Details on how to participate in the activities we have planned will be shared on each Youth Centre’s social channel. Friday, May 1: 

  • Youth week kick off @Home Scavenger Hunt
    Host: Creekside Youth Centre

Monday, May 4:

  • YW Committee members will be hosting an online game 
    Host: Summit Youth Centre
  • Star Wars Trivia
    Host: Creekside Youth Centre
  • JackBox Games and NBA 2k Challenge
    Host: Edmonds Community Centre

Tuesday, May 5:

  • Cooking recipe w/Ashleigh Cinqo de Mayo themed!

  • Girls Group Zoom

  • Drop-in Zoom

Wednesday, May 6:

  • Games night with Jackbox games on Zoom

Burnaby Youth Week Citizenship Awards

Thank you for your nominations. Presentation of awards are currently postponed. Nominees will be contacted with additional details.

Youth Week is also a time that the City recognizes the achievements of our youth with the Burnaby Youth Week Citizenship Awards. Teens are recognized in an official ceremony at a City Council Meeting. 

If you know anyone who deserves a Citizenship Nomination, check out the nomination details and requirements. 2020 nominations are due by Friday, March 6, 2020. Top nominees are awarded $100.00.
