The Burnaby Central Secondary School Track and Field is a state-of-the art facility which includes an eight lane running track, a lit artificial turf field, throwing facilities (discus, hammer and javelin), natural grass field, meeting rooms, seating area and plaza.

The facility integrates the needs of the educational system with the needs of the overall community. It is built to international standards, providing a venue for local athletes to practice and train as well as open the doors for hosting regional, provincial and national competitions.

During the weekdays, the track and field is generally used by students and school teams. In the evenings and on the weekends, the community uses the facility for organized sports to practice and play, and additionally, local neighbours come to this facility for a walk, jog and to be active!
