City Volunteer Opportunities Cancelled

City volunteer opportunities have been cancelled until further notice. Programs and associated volunteer opportunities will restart as soon as public health agencies advise that it is safe to do so. View more information »

Thank you to all our current volunteers for your invaluable service. Volunteer coordinators will contact you as soon as programs restart.

Burnaby Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services believes that people should be treated with dignity and respect and that all people should have a reasonable opportunity to take part in recreation activities of their choice.

Access Services volunteers help assist individuals that require extra support in programs, including preschool, afterschool, aquatics and fine arts programs. Burnaby Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services also recruits volunteers to help support staff in adapted programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, including our evening social programs and summer camps.

Volunteer opportunities take place at Burnaby Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services community centres and Burnaby school sites. Use the map below to view locations near you, and across Burnaby.
