Confederation Community Centre

Welcome Back 55+!

We are restarting our 55+ services at Confederation Community Centre with reduced capacity and focused programming to allow for physical distancing and more time in between sessions for increased cleaning. Beginning October 13, we will be offering a limited number of 55+ programs and activities including fitness, yoga, Tai Chi, Bingo, Social Circle and Craft Circle.

Advance reservation and payment is required for each activity or program. No drop-ins.

Safety Update: Masks are now required in all of our indoor facilities.

Eileen Dailly Fitness Classes

Fitness classes from Eileen Dailly will continue to take place in the Confederation Activity Hall. Everyone over 14 years is welcome to participate except for the designated 55+ classes. Be sure to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of class and sign in at the Main entrance. Check out the schedule on the Eileen Dailly fitness page.

55+ Membership Fees

Please note: Due to recreation and senior facility closures as a result of COVID-19, 55+ members will receive a refund on their membership fees. All valid 55+ membership fees that were purchased prior to March 18, 2020, have been pro-rated and credited to your City registration account. If you would like a refund in a different form, please contact your local community centre.

To take part in 55+ programs and activities, you can purchase a 55+ single centre or multi-centre membership. You can use the single centre membership if you take part in programs and activities in only one centre, or you can use the multi-centre membership if you enjoy taking part in programs and activities in more than one centre. If you’re a Burnaby citizen 90 years or older, please contact your local 55+ Centre regarding a lifetime membership. Please note most programs and activites are open to non-members for a slightly higher fee.
