Painting Studio

This intermediate class supports you in

developing your own personal art practice.

The first hour consists of a brief art

appreciation slideshow or a technique and

material demonstration and group critique

followed by two full hours of working on

your own painting with instructor guidance.

This class is open to those working in

watercolour, acrylic or oils.

Watercolours - Beginner / Continuing

For the beginning student, this friendly

course introduces the exciting possibilities,

delights and challenges of watercolours

through colour mixing and paint application

and a variety of subject matter. Explore glazing

and wet-on-wet techniques, as well as colour,

value and composition. For the continuing

student, this class can help you further

develop your own approach.

Life Drawing Non-instructional

You are provided with the space and time

to hone your life drawing skills with a live,

undraped model. A variety of poses, long

and short, are offered. Easels, drawing boards

and clips are provided. Students bring in their

own drawing or painting supplies. Drop-ins

available on a first-come first-serve basis.
