Burnaby City Hall will fully reopen to the public on January 4.
At that time, Burnaby residents will be able to pay taxes, obtain licences, and attend council and committee meetings in person. City Hall will also once again be open until 8 pm on Thursday nights.
Visitors and staff will be expected to follow all health and safety protocols at City Hall, including wearing a mask in common areas. In line with guidance from the Provincial Health Officer, visitors will not be required to show proof of vaccination to access City Hall, unless they are have arranged an in-person meeting with City staff.
Burnaby residents who are not comfortable or able to attend City Hall in person will still be able to access services online and by phone.
All Open Council and Special Council Meetings, Public Hearings, Board of Variance, committees and commissions meetings will continue to be accessible via livestream. Recordings are also available at burnaby.ca/eagenda.
