Certain fitness and recreational activities suspended at City facilities

In response to the provincial health orders issued by Dr. Bonnie Henry, the City of Burnaby will suspend certain activities at community centres and recreational facilities as of December 23, 2021.

The following amenities and activities will be suspended at all Burnaby facilities until January 18, 2022:

  • Fitness classes (including Zumba, yoga, cycling and boxing for fitness classes)
  • Cardio equipment and weight rooms

Also of note, as part of the new orders issued by the province, visitors to public swimming pools must now present their BC Vaccine Card.
