About this project
We developed the Bainbridge Urban Village Community Plan to plan a future for the neighbourhood as a unique, vibrant and exciting place, complete with a connected and diverse community that strives towards a sustainable and resilient future together with Burnaby’s other neighbourhoods.
The final plan was adopted by City Council on July 25, 2022, after three phases of public consultation that spanned from fall 2020 to spring 2022. On this same date, Council also adopted the Burnaby Urban Village Design Guidelines to set high-quality expectations for aspects such as urban form, site layout, design and landscaping in the City’s urban village neighbourhoods.
