The City has approved a conceptual master plan for the 7.9 acre Grosvenor Brentwood site located on the 4600 block of Lougheed Highway, directly south of Brentwood Mall. The plan features 6 towers with a mix of strata, market rental and below-market rental homes, as well as commercial retail and office spaces. The master plan also includes a 100,000 square foot City-owned community centre on site, to be operated by the City once completed.
The master plan received final approval from City Council on October 3, 2022 after public consultation (which included a virtual open house session with City staff) during March 2022. Council also concurrently approved an amendment to the Brentwood Town Centre Development Plan to change the site’s designation to high-density mixed-use.
The planned development is car-free above ground, and is designed to be highly walkable with nearly three acres of green space and public courtyards, and great access to transit and services.
