
Burnaby Village Museum will once again transform into a magical world bathed in breathtaking colour with the return of Eerie Illusions. This popular event will captivate visitors with new displays, costumed staff, live performances and surprises hidden in the shadows.
This self-guided family friendly Halloween experience is suitable for all ages. Visitors are encouraged to come in costume and explore Burnaby Village Museum’s 10 acre venue. Utilizing state-of-the-art lighting, projections, soundscapes and special effects, Eerie Illusions will thrill and amaze.
Food trucks will also be available with offerings from: Green Coast Coffee, Reel Mac and Cheese and Cravings Kettle Corn.

We recommend carpooling or taking transit where possible.
Nearly every facility at the Museum is wheelchair accessible and stroller friendly. A paved pathway connects buildings on the historic ground.
While there will be a Halloween theme, the displays are designed to be family friendly.
Pets, with the exception of service animals, are not permitted within the site.
The event will happen rain or shine.
All sales final. No refunds or exchanges are available.
Burnaby Village Museum members are eligible for free admission to Eerie Illusions. Bookings must be made by calling the box office at 604-205-3000 to access your tickets. The box office is accessible during the following hours:
- Tuesday to Friday: 12-5 pm
- Saturday: 12-4 pm
- Sunday and Monday: Closed
Unfortunately, access to Eerie Illusions is not included with the Tourism Challenge Passport.
Tickets can be purchased on site pending capacity availability.
