Council meets regularly to debate and decide on issues that concern you. These meetings also offer residents a chance to hear all the arguments and understand the reason behind council's decisions.

Meetings are held at Burnaby City Hall on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 5 pm. Please check the calendar to confirm date and location details.

Vancouver to SFU Cycling Connection
City Council approved a contract award to Crown Contracting Ltd., for an estimated total of $506,999 including taxes, for work on the first phase of the three-phase Vancouver to SFU Cycling Connection project. These improvements include installation of new speed humps, and signage and pavement markings in the following areas: Union Street from Boundary Road to Ingleton Avenue; Ingleton Avenue from Union Street to Frances Street; Frances Street from Ingleton Avenue to Holdom Avenue; Hammarskjold Drive from the dead-end to Kensington Avenue; and Union Street from Kensington Avenue to Duthie Street.

Electric-Bike Share Pilot Program
City Council endorsed an Electric-Bike Share Pilot Program and directed staff to select a shared micromobility operator through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
