The Property Tax Estimator below is used to determine how much your property's assessed value will affect your property taxes for the year.
For 2026, this tool is based on a combined 4.8% City of Burnaby increase (2.9% General + 1.9% Infrastructure Growth Levy). Rates for other taxing authorities are based on an estimated 3% increase.
The tool uses the Preview Roll for 2026. The final Revised Roll used for setting tax rates will be available in late March, and tax rates are finalised in late April, after which time this tool will be updated.
Your assessed value is multiplied by the tax rate for your assessment class and divided by 1,000. The tax rate (or mill rate) is comprised of the rates levied by each taxing authority.
Figures do not include items such as Sewer Parcel Tax.
