World class performers and home-grown stars kick off Shadbolt’s new season

Last updated: September 7, 2023

Get ready for a season of unforgettable performances! The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts is proud to present an outstanding fall lineup of 11 different shows running through December, featuring live performances by world-renowned Canadian talent. Most shows start at 7:30 pm, with doors opening at 7 pm.

We kick off the season on September 22, with a fusion of guitar genius and captivating violin melodies in a performance by JUNO-nominated artist Marc Atkinson, accompanied by his jazz trio, and special guest Cam Wilson

On September 28 and 29, audiences are invited to join us for Bunk #7, a compelling play written by playwright Larry Guno. The play uncovers the untold story of resilience and rebellion—a powerful portrayal of cultural strength against adversity.

Returning on November 2 and 3, The Arts Club Theatre Company presents The Birds and the Bees by Mark Crawford. Set in adjoining bedrooms, this Canadian comedy tells a story about love, lust, beekeeping, and artificial insemination of turkeys.

From November 16 to 18, Cinderella’s stepsisters are having a ball and you’re invited! The Spinsters is a dark comedy, featuring Tara Travis and Christine Lesiak. With both evening and afternoon shows, brace yourself for gossip and chaos.

Finally, on December 8, treat yourself to the soulful sounds of the B3 KINGS, led by vocal sensation Denzal Sinclaire.
