BurnabyConnect App is the official mobile app for the City of Burnaby. You can download this FREE app for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.
BurnabyConnect App provides a convenient way for you to access the City's most popular online information and service tools on your mobile devices. Information includes:
- latest news
- community events
- recreation and arts facilities and programs
- job opportunities in the City
- online services and other apps
- maps
- local government information
- recycling and garbage collection
- and more!

In addition, you can opt-in to receive timely notifications about the latest news and events from the City of Burnaby.
Personalize your settings
After downloading the app, follow the in-app instructions for set up. You will be asked to set your preferences for allowing (or not) statistics collection, receiving notifications from the City, and location access.

No, the BurnabyConnect app is free.
Tap on the App Store on your iPhone or iPad. Cick on Search and enter BurnabyConnect. Tap on Get and then Install to download the App.
Tap on the Google Play store on your Android device. Click on Search and enter BurnabyConnect. Tap Install to download the App.
Here are a few things you can do if you encounter issues:
- Try turning off and restarting your mobile device.
- Check for operating system upgrades on your device and ensure you are running the current version.
- Go to the GooglePlay (for Android) or Apple App (for Apple) to check that you have the latest version of the App.

If you want to receive notifications from about City of Burnaby news and events, tap on the Settings icon. Under the App Permissions, tap on Notifications and then tap on Open Notification Settings. Find the BurnabyConnect app turn the Allow Notifications on. You can stop notification by turning off the Allow Notification in the Settings area.
When you download BurnabyConnect App, the app does not automatically retain any personal information from you. The BurnabyConnect App, through a third-party, temporarily logs a limited amount of standard information that enables us to evaluate the functionality and usage of the app and optimize the user experience. After downloaded the app, you’ll be asked to go to Settings and set you preferences for information collection. You can stop the collection of all statistics at any time by turning off the Statistics Collection in the Settings area of the app.
