In-Line Skating Programs

For the Spring/Summer, the ice is removed from our ice rinks and converted to dry floor use. Check out in-line skating programs being offered during this time.

Registration for Fall/Winter Programs

Registration for most Fall/Winter programs begins on August 14, 2019.

Burnaby has three locations for you to learn to skate, get some exercise skating or play hockey. Two arenas, Bill Copeland and Burnaby Lake, are located next to each other in the Central Valley area and Kensington is located in north Burnaby.

Ice Skating is closed for the Spring/Summer Season. Check back in the Fall for new schedules and skating lessons information.

Skating Registration

Skating program participants can only register in one lesson set at a time. You may register your child for the next lesson set only after the completion of the lessons set they are currently registered in. Your child may be withdrawn from a program(s) if registered in more than one lesson set per session.

Children’s Admission Policy

Children 7 years of age or younger must be accompanied on the ice by a person 16 years of age or older on skates. The ratio of children to accompanying persons must be no greater than 3 to 1. We do not recommend that parents/guardians leave their children under 10 years old unaccompanied at our facility.
