Who we are

The Lands and Facilities Department provides property-related services to the City, including planning, acquiring, selling, leasing, building, maintaining and managing City's lands, properties, facilities and civic projects.

What we do

Facilities Management operates and maintains City-owned buildings and rental properties, including City Hall, fire stations, libraries, community centres and others, to best serve City's staff and residents.

Civic Building Projects oversees the planning, design and construction of major civic buildings and related projects.

Realty and Lands provides real estate services to the council and other City departments on issues affecting Burnaby residents and other stakeholders.

Rental Property Management handles rent and leases related to City-owned properties.
