Parks, Recreation and Culture

Parks, recreation and culture–it's all here for your enjoyment

Burnaby is surrounded by nature–step out your door and find parks, trails and playgrounds that have been developed and maintained by our parks department for years.

Our community centres and recreation facilities feature a host of activities and programs developed by recreation staff who create welcoming spaces for people of all ages and abilities.

The City's most popular events and festivals all happen in our cultural zone in Deer Lake Park–enjoy a concert on the Festival Lawn, tour a new exhibit at Burnaby Art Gallery, step back in time at Burnaby Village Museum or see what's happening at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts. It's all for you!
