Heritage Christmas presented by Concord Pacific Returns to Burnaby Village Museum

Last updated: November 24, 2022

A traditional Metro Vancouver holiday event is back again this year, as Heritage Christmas at Burnaby Village Museum returns from November 26 to January 2.

During Heritage Christmas, the 10-acre venue is transformed into a holiday wonderland featuring elaborate light displays, festive and traditional decorations, and live entertainment. Families can take part in a bird-themed scavenger hunt that includes a collection of larger-than-life eco-sculptures, or have their pictures taken with Father Christmas (select dates only).

Admission is free for all visitors but please plan your visits in advance as entry may be limited based on site capacity.

“We’re so excited to welcome families to Burnaby Village Museum this holiday season for Heritage Christmas,” said Mayor Mike Hurley. “This is a great tradition for many and an opportunity to create new traditions, too, and a wonderful time for the community to come together and experience the spirit of the season.”

Join us for Bright in Burnaby, the official launch of Heritage Christmas, on Saturday, December 3 from 5-9 pm. Festivities include a holiday activity, live entertainment and a tree lighting ceremony. Proceeds from hot chocolate and Christmas cookies purchased during this time will be donated to the Burnaby Christmas Bureau.
