The City of Burnaby is seeking submissions from BC-based eco-artists to have their work featured at the Burnaby Blooms Festival on May 4, 2025.
Artists will have the option to choose whether their work should be considered for temporary display in Deer Lake Park during the festival or considered for an extended display period for the entire month of May. The deadline for submissions is January 17, 2025.
Burnaby Blooms is a springtime celebration filled with art installations, fun family friendly activities, music and demonstrations that promote sustainability and ecological health in our community. It's also a fantastic platform to support and showcase the talents of local artists.
Artists are encouraged to incorporate the theme of sustainability in their works and to use natural materials which will not impact Deer Lake Park. For more details and to fill out an online application form visit www.burnaby.ca/form/call-for-artists.
