City invites feedback to enhance the BC Parkway in Burnaby

Last updated: April 8, 2024

Burnaby residents are invited to contribute to a long-term plan to improve the BC Parkway corridor from Boundary Road to the Royal Oak SkyTrain station, referred to as Parkway Alive!

The plan explores opportunities to transform the corridor into a vibrant linear park to advance health, wellness and social inclusion with needed public spaces and opportunities for recreation, art, commerce and other amenities that reflect the needs and aspirations of the community.

Residents can share their voice by taking an online survey until April 28, 2024, at Burnaby.ca/BCParkway.

The City will also host pop-up events where residents can engage with our project team and learn more about this project.

  • April 21, 9:30 am-noon, Patterson SkyTrain Station (south side)
  • April 27, 9:30 am-noon, Bonsor Recreation Complex
  • April 28, 1:30-4 pm, Bob Prittie Library

We want to hear from you about your vision for Burnaby’s BC Parkway as a vital corridor for cycling, walking and rolling, while also becoming a destination all of its own.
