Property taxes are due Thursday, July 3

Last updated: May 16, 2025
We’re reminding property owners that property taxes in Burnaby are due July 3, after which a 5% late penalty will apply.
Property tax notices will be mailed out starting May 16. Property owners who receive their notices by email should have received their eBill already.
Potential Canada Post strike could delay your mail
Due to the potential for a Canada Post strike, we encourage you to switch to online billing. Register for a My Property Portal profile to view and receive notices by email, see your account balance and make payments. If you do not receive your property tax notice, call Revenue Services at 604-294-7350.
Home owner grant applications need to be sent to the Province of BC.
The City of Burnaby does not process home owner grant applications. They should be submitted directly to the Province of BC. To know if you qualify and to apply for the grant, visit gov.bc.ca/homeownergrant.
