About this Project
We are building a new playground at Lewarne Park to create a fun, accessible and convenient place to play for the Royal Oak neighbourhood’s growing population. The new playground will include accessible play structures, outdoor fitness equipment, rubber surfacing, a shade structure, new furniture and amenities, and a stroller-friendly paved trike path for children learning to ride a bike. The design will be finalized in spring 2026, and the new playground is scheduled for construction in summer 2026.
