Roll up your sleeves and help protect and restore Burnaby's beautiful parks! We’re looking for volunteers to help remove invasive species and plant native trees at Central, Burnaby Mountain, and Deer Lake parks. Volunteers will enjoy a day of exercise and fresh air in one of our beautiful parks, meet new, like-minded friends, and serve our ecosystems and residents by creating a better future for some of our most treasured natural spaces.
No experience is necessary. Events are led by experts at the Invasive Species Council of Metro Vancouver (ISCMV), who will provide instruction, gloves, all the required tools, and refreshments.
