Celebrate the summer with a free live performance series! Bring a blanket or a chair and join us at Confederation Park (by the spray park).

Enjoy two live performances every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 11:30 am and 2 pm!

That’s not all! Between 11 am and 3 pm each day, we’ve got exciting activities for everyone. Dive into free family-friendly art sessions or challenge your crew to lawn games. As a special treat, selected days feature free face painting and henna art for the delight of kids and grown-ups alike!

July 10	2-2:45 pm	Chinese Lion Dancers	Experience the vibrant energy and rich cultural heritage of a traditional Chinese lion dance performance. This spectacular show celebrates time-honored customs with dazzling costumes, dynamic movements and auspicious symbolism.

July 17	2-2:45 pm	Brazilian Flavours	Brazilian Flavours offers a vibrant blend of Brazilian Choro and Forró music, enriched with original compositions. She belongs to the X̱aayda (Haida), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Tlingit, Tsleil-Waututh Nations, and is also part Hawaiian.
July 23	2-2:45 pm	Elvis Tribute Artist	Get ready to dance and sing along to all your favorite upbeat early Elvis Presley hits. This energetic show will have you twisting and shouting to the King's most joyful tunes and leave you swooning for more!
July 24	11:30 am-12:15 pm	Vancouver Chinese Music Ensemble	This group consists of musicians who are all masters of traditional instruments including Chinese flutes (dizi), guitars (ruan), violin (erhu), pipes (sheng), zither (guzheng) and lute (pipa). They blend tradition and technical mastery with a passionate approach. This enables them to integrate diverse styles on Chinese instruments.

The result is a pastiche of influences, both contemporary and past, which can best be described as “folk-nouveau”.
