With its NHL regulation ice rink and spectator seating, Kensington is ideal for hockey tournaments and figure skating competitions in winter and lacrosse in the summer. Our community room is is equipped with everything you need for a productive meeting, workshop or lively social gathering.

Rental application information

Application deadlines:

  • Fall/winter arena rental: April 7, of the current year
  • Spring/summer arena rental: November 7, of the previous year
  • Fall/winter special events: March 31, of the current year
  • Spring/summer special events: October 31, of the previous year

Multipurpose room rentals and Birthday parties
  • Multipurpose rooms 1 & 2 are available for events, meetings or gatherings
  • Birthday parties are available during public skate on Saturdays and Sundays from September 13-December 7 (no booking October 26, November 8, 9) 
  • Saturdays: public skate 5:30-7:15 pm
  • Sundays: public skate 1:45-4 pm (Sep 14-Oct 19) and 1:45-5:15 pm (Nov 2-Dec 7)
  • Maximum 30 participants per birthday party

  • Group bookings are available during drop-in skates on weekdays (space is limited)

Liability insurance

Commercial general liability insurance is required to rent any City facility- please check with the facility for specific requirements. You may purchase insurance through an independent broker of your choice, or receive a quote through AON Insurance
