Seniors and older adults will have the chance to try a wide variety of activities at four senior centres in Burnaby during Active Aging Week, from October 3 to 7.
Active Aging Week celebrates aging and promotes the benefits of healthier, more active lifestyles. The objective of this event is to give as many older adults as possible the means to experience wellness activities and exercise in a safe, supportive environment.
Registration is now available through Burnaby.ca for all programs and classes offered during Active Aging Week, including:
- Try It! Hip Hop
- Munchies and a Movie
- Garden Club
- Techniques of Pallet Painting
- Wood Carving, and much more.
