City hosting pop-up events for cycling network improvements in Edmonds Town Centre

Last updated: September 25, 2023

Burnaby residents will have an opportunity to learn more about the City of Burnaby’s Edmonds Town Centre Cycling Network project at 2 pop-up events taking place in October. Drop in to talk to the project team, share your voice and learn about the feedback the City received in Phase 1 of the project, as well as what is planned for Phase 2:

Saturday, October 14, 12-4 pm
Edmonds Community Centre (7433 Edmonds Street)

Wednesday, October 18, 3-7 pm
Edmonds Community Centre (7433 Edmonds Street)

As envisioned in Connecting Burnaby, Burnaby’s Transportation Plan, the City of Burnaby is improving the current cycling network in the Edmonds Town Centre area. These improvements will expand Burnaby’s local and regional cycling network connections and provide a complete, safe and comfortable cycling network for people of all ages and abilities. This project also helps encourage and promote cycling as a sustainable and active mode of travel for everyone.

The City is making these improvements in support of the Climate Action Framework and in alignment with Burnaby’s Transportation Plan, Connecting Burnaby. The project is funded in part through TransLink’s regional cycling investments.

The online survey as part of Phase 1 ends September 30.
