The City of Burnaby hosted a grand opening on October 31 to mark the addition of 4 new pickleball courts at Squint Lake Park.
With the addition of this new facility, there are now a total of 12 pickleball courts at Squint Lake Park, 4 of which are dedicated to pickleball and 8 are shared with tennis courts, all the courts are accessible.
Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in North America and with 99 courts now available in parks across the community, Burnaby is quickly becoming a new hub for pickleball players of all ages and abilities.
