City hosts family-friendly playoff viewing party for Canucks

The City of Burnaby joins in the community celebrations by hosting a free, family-friendly viewing venue for Round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoff games against the Edmonton Oilers.

Local fans can cheer on the Vancouver Canucks at Burnaby’s newest facility, Rosemary Brown Recreation Centre, located at 7789 18th Street in South Burnaby. Live television broadcasts on large-format screens on the second floor will take place each game day and continue throughout the series.

  • Game 1 on Wednesday, May 8: Opens at 6:30 pm for the 7 pm game.
  • Game 2 on Friday, May 10: Opens at 6:30 pm for the 7 pm game.
  • Game 3 on Sunday, May 12: Opens at 6 pm, puck drop at 6:30 pm
  • Game 4 on Tuesday, May 14: Opens at 6 pm, puck drop at 6:30 pm
  • Game 5 on Thursday, May 16: Opens at 6:30 pm, puck drop at 7 pm
  • Game 6 on Saturday, May 18: Opens at 4:30 pm, puck drop at 5 pm
  • Game 7 on Monday, May 20: Opens at 5:30 pm, puck drop at 6 pm

The café will be open with snacks and beverages available for purchase. Parking is limited, carpooling or public transit is recommended.
