The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts is thrilled to announce its 2025-26 theatre season, featuring a diverse selection of performances that celebrate the richness of live theatre and the vibrant talent within our community and beyond.
Vocals: Our season opens October 4, with a stellar evening featuring award-winning Canadian icon Sarah Slean. Described by the CBC as a “19th century Kate Bush,” Slean’s music blends cabaret, pop and orchestral styles, all elevated by her poetic lyrics and captivating voice.
Comedy: Don’t miss the hysterical reunion of Canadian comedy legends on October 9, with Peter Oldring and Pat Kelly (CBC Radio’s This is That) as they reunite with Carolyn Taylor (Baroness von Sketch Show) for A Perfectly Reasonable Night of Comedy. This delightfully absurd variety show blends sharp wit, nostalgic brilliance and the kind of comedy your algorithm could never predict.
Music: The banjo melodies of Guy Davis grace our stage on October 10, a two-time, back-to-back Grammy nominee for Best Traditional Blues album. While Aysanabee will electrify audiences with The Way We’re Born Tour on November 13, the first-ever Indigenous artist to win JUNO awards for Alternative Album of the Year and the coveted Songwriter of the Year in 2024.
Theatre: Arts Club on Tour brings: You Used to Call Me Marie on November 5 and 6, Burning Mom on January 25, 2026, and The Golden Anniversaries on March 24 and 25.
Dance: Dance, rhythm and sound illuminate our stage on November 9 with Ballet BC, November 22 and 23 with African/Latin dance group MOSAÏCO, and April 18, 2026 with the all-women tango ensemble Solidaridad Tango.
We look forward to welcoming you to an unforgettable season of live theatre, music, dance, film and comedy that promises to inspire and entertain. For a full list of upcoming performances and to purchase tickets: https://tickets.shadboltcentre.com or 604-205-3000.
