Permanent Art Collection and Education Collection
The Burnaby Art Gallery manages the City of Burnaby Permanent Art Collection and Art Education Collections, holding more than 6,600 works on paper from historical to contemporary. With significant representation of printmaking on the West Coast, the collection features substantial holdings by Coast Salish artists, as well as artists such as Alistair Bell, Marianna Schmidt, Jack Shadbolt, Gordon Smith, Takao Tanabe, Anna Wong and more.

The City of Burnaby features many artworks in public space. With both a civic collection of public art and an active private sector program, works are located across the City in parks, plazas and other spaces to be enjoyed by the public, day and night.
