Nick Volkow Skate Park Dedication

Join us for the renaming of the Metro Skate Park to the Nick Volkow Skate Park in honour of the beloved city councillor who dedicated so much of his life to building a better community for all residents of all ages and lifestyles. There will be an official ceremony at 11 am followed by a skate board demonstration. 

Go green! You are encouraged to take transit, cycle, walk or carpool to the event. The Metrotown SkyTrain station is the closest to the skate park, see bus schedule.
