Located in beautiful Central Park, this heated pool is open late-spring through summer for your enjoyment.
Note: No swimming lessons offered at Central Park Outdoor Pool. Call a community centre or register online for other locations.
Children 7 years of age and younger and less than 122 centimetres (48 inches) tall, must be accompanied in the water by a person 16 years of age or older and be within arm's reach of that person at all times. The ratio of children to accompanying persons must be no greater than 3 to 1.
Parking
Two stalls are available in the parking area off of Boundary near the pool. Additional designated stalls are also made available during special events.
Entry/Access
Central Park Outdoor Pool has an accessible washroom/change room and shower, and a portable Pal 2.0 lift that accommodates up to 300 pounds.
Rentals on the weekends are now available at Kensington and Robert Burnaby Outdoor Pools from 10:30 am-12:30 pm! Perfect for birthday parties or other celebrations! Inquire by filling out the Outdoor Pools Booking Request Form and emailing it to [email protected].
If you are planning to attend a swim with a group of 10 or more, please email us in advance at [email protected].
New registration process for swimming lessons
If you are a Burnaby resident, you can register for swimming lessons 30 days in advance of the start date. General registration opens 27 days in advance. This will provide more opportunities for swimming lesson registrations. Learn more.
