Serving the City since 1911, the Burnaby Fire Department is committed to providing timely, professional and effective fire-related emergency services to save lives, property and the environment. Our dedicated staff serves the City via our 7 fire stations located strategically across Burnaby. Each of our stations is equipped with up-to-date vehicles and equipment.

Our highly skilled and trained team of men and women provide many services, including fire suppression and prevention, investigation, inspection, training, medical, vehicle extrication, technical and other speciality rescues, hazardous materials response and public education services.

Our proactive approach and pre-incident planning help protect Burnaby citizens and firefighters from injury before a fire even starts.

Our public education program brings fire safety awareness to the public. You can find information and fire safety tips for everyone from school-aged children to seniors to workgroups.

A fire safety plan contains information and safety procedures for building owners, occupants and responding firefighters to deal with emergencies.

In order to create a regional approach to mobile food vendor inspections, the Greater Vancouver Fire Chiefs Association has developed a guideline and approval process for mobile food vendors throughout the Lower Mainland.

Fees
  • copy of fire investigation report - $202.50 (GST exempt)
  • copy of motor vehicle or medical incident report - $101 (GST exempt)
  • copy of any other report - $152 (GST exempt)
