No Smoking in Burnaby Parks, Trails and Green Spaces

Due to the dry weather and heat that could result in fire hazards, the City of Burnaby advises all park users that there is NO SMOKING permitted in Burnaby parks, trail systems and green spaces. Sporty types flock here for some very good reasons. They fine-tune their swing at one of Burnaby’s most popular Pitch & Putt golf courses. They play softball in the summer and soccer during the winter. And, for those dedicated to Canada’s national sport, the Kensington Complex is home to an ice hockey rink that’s also used by figure skaters. Having accommodated most team sports, the park also features tennis courts, a top-quality running track and synthetic turf field and an Outdoor Pool.
