Make a commitment to your personal health and fitness.
- Drop-in, and start using your Be Active Pass for all the activities listed below.
- Purchase Be Active Passes in-person at all facilities or online.
- Annual Be Active Passes can be suspended and extended for a minimum of one week and a maximum of six weeks in the life of the pass for medical, travel or facility closures.

Get your Be Active Pass and enjoy unlimited access to:
- Fitness, yoga, mat pilates and Zumba® classes (does not include multi-session activities)
- Indoor cycling at Bonsor and Christine Sinclair
- Cardio and weights equipment
- Public skating, family skating and toonie skates
- Public swims, loonie swims, lap swims, family swims and aquafit
- Swimming at 4 outdoor pools in the summer
- Steam rooms, saunas and whirlpools
- Drop-in gym sports, Tiny Tikes and table tennis
- Please note: golf is not included in the Be Active Pass.

Summer Fun Pass for children and youth
Children and youth aged 5-18 years old can stay active this summer with access to all drop-in activities at recreation facilities for $20+GST. Sales start May 26, 2025.
Age limits may apply to some activities. Valid June 28-September 2, 2025 for Burnaby residents.
Visit any recreation facility to purchase.
Please note: Summer Fun Passes are not available to purchase or use at golf courses or pitch and putts.

Yes, we have updated age categories to further invest in the health and well-being of children, youth and seniors. The following outlines the new age categories:
- Tot is 4 years and under
- Child is 5-14 years
- Youth is 15-25 years with no requirement to be enrolled in post secondary education
- Adult 26-64 years
- Seniors is 65+ years
To request a refund, please phone or visit any recreation, arts or heritage facility. Note: Annual Be Active Passes are not refundable.
If a payment on your monthly plan is unsuccessful, your pass may be subject to cancellation. Please contact any recreation facility if you need assistance updating your payment information.
