Kensington Park

Due to extremely dry conditions and the high fire risk, the following bans are now in effect until further notice: 

No Barbecues at Burnaby Parks and Beaches 

The use of barbecues (charcoal/briquette/wood) at City of Burnaby parks and beaches is now prohibited. Propane barbecues are permitted. 

No Smoking in Burnaby Parks, Trails and Green Spaces 

The City of Burnaby advises all park users that there is no smoking permitted in Burnaby parks, trails and green spaces. "No Smoking" signs are posted throughout the City.

Kensington Park

Sporty types flock here for some very good reasons. They fine-tune their swing at one of Burnaby’s most popular Pitch & Putt golf courses. They play softball in the summer and soccer during the winter. And, for those dedicated to Canada’s national sport, the Kensington Complex is home to an ice hockey rink that’s also used by figure skaters. Having accommodated most team sports, the park also features tennis courts, a top-quality running track and synthetic turf field and an Outdoor Pool.
