Shadbolt Centre for the Arts

The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts is a stunning multi-use facility located in picturesque Deer Lake Park. The centre presents live performances, offers arts programs for all ages, produces community events and festivals, and its stunning architecture and flexible spaces makes it the perfect venue to host meetings, conferences and special occasions.

The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts is an award-winning, multi-purpose community arts facility located in Burnaby's Arts Precinct, picturesque Deer Lake Park. Owned and operated by the City of Burnaby, the municipal building is named for internationally acclaimed painter Jack Shadbolt and his wife, Doris Shadbolt, curator, author and art educator. Learn more »

The Centre offers a variety of programstheatre performances and festivals, as well as venue rentals for a variety of events including conferences, recitals and weddings. It's the perfect place to become involved in arts and culture, volunteer at a festival or special event, or catch up with friends over coffee at our Encores Cafe.
