Online registration using WebReg, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Do you know your Family PIN?
To register for programs using WebReg, you must have a Family Personal Identification Number (PIN).
If you do not know your Family PIN or have not registered using our online Webreg before, please visit or call any recreation facility during regular business hours.
By Phone
Have your VISA, MasterCard or American Express number, plus the Card Verification Value (CVV) digits and expiry date ready. Phone-in registration hours vary from location to location.
Note: If you don't have a credit card, you can pay for your spot by visiting a recreation facility in person to book upcoming sessions and pay with debit card or cash, or put a lump sum payment on your WebReg account. This payment acts as a credit on your account that can be used for online registration.
- Registration Fees
Course fees must be paid when you register.
We accept cash, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, debit card or personal cheques (make cheques payable to the City of Burnaby). A $35.00 charge will be applied to all dishonoured cheque and credit card payments.
Prices for courses do not include taxes. Taxes are added at the time of payment, where applicable.
Programs may be cancelled if under-enrolled. Decisions about course cancellation are made up to one week prior to the start date, so please register early to avoid disappointment! If your class is cancelled, you will be issued a refund.
- 55+ Membership Fees
To take part in 55+ registered programs (that last for multiple sessions), you will need to purchase a 55+ single centre or multi-centre membership. You can use the single centre membership if you usually take part in programs in only one centre, or you can use the multi-centre membership if you enjoy taking part in programs in more than one centre. If you’re a Burnaby citizen 90 years or older, please contact your local 55+ Centre regarding a lifetime membership. Please note many classes are open to non-members for a slightly higher fee.
Single Centre: $19.30 per year
Multi-centre: $48.25 per year
- Cancellations & Refunds
Refund Guidelines
Winter 2021 Programs: A full refund is granted if a class is cancelled or if you request a refund at least seven days before the start of the class. If a refund is requested less than seven days before class start, the cost of one session is deducted. After classes have started, refunds are pro-rated according to the number of sessions remaining. No refunds are granted after the final session has started. Refunds requested on the day of the class or after class completion cannot be granted. There may be exceptions to these guidelines. In some cases, these exceptions are noted in the individual descriptions of courses and activities. Please check your receipt.
Be Active 10 visit pass: Refunds are available in the form of a credit on your account for any remaining visits on the pass (if purchased within the past two years).
If you are unwell, please do not attend.
If classes are cancelled as a result of direction from health authorities, refunds or credits will be provided to anyone who has registered in advance at the end of the session.
