The City of Burnaby will leverage its reserves to limit rate increases on water and sewer services, despite Metro Vancouver rates spiking in 2025.

The City of Burnaby invites everyone to nominate that special someone who’s volunteered a heroic amount of time in the community – a local leader who helps make Burnaby a world-class community through volunteering.

Effective retroactively from December 2, the living wage has increased from $25.68 per hour to $27.05 (a 5.33% increase), reflecting the rising cost of living in the Metro Vancouver area.
