Outdoor Recreation

For everyone's safety:

  • Outdoor programs will have reduced capacity to allow for physical distancing
  • Come dressed and prepared to be outdoors
  • Physical distancing will be enforced. Please maintain 2 metres or more between yourself and others at all times
  • Respect and follow directions of staff at all times
  • Expect enhanced cleaning and sanitization protocols
  • First aid and rescue procedures have been modified to ensure the safety of participants and staff
  • If you appear to be sick, you will not be allowed to participate. Please stay home if you are sick

Our outdoor recreation programs are offered all year round! Breathe in the fresh air while you explore the beautiful outdoors through a variety of programs, including kayaking, canoeing, hiking and snowshoeing. Learn new skills, meet people and be active!

Fall 2020 Programs

Advance registration is required for each program. Burnaby residents have priority registration and can register in advance of non-residents for programs and activities which are in Webreg. No drop-ins.

Use the Webreg online registration system to reserve your time and make payment, or reserve by phone by calling 604-294-7222 Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm.

Important Information for Registered Participants
